IIHMR Startups, a unit of IIHMR Foundation, organised the second edition of TEDxIIHMRU, an inspiring event centered around the theme “Inspire, Innovate, Impact,” at IIHMR . As a pioneer in healthcare management education in Jaipur, IIHMR University hosted this event, which brought together a diverse group of visionaries and changemakers committed to driving positive change. TEDxIIHMRUcontinued to connect people and build stronger communities worldwide. The event featured an inaugural address by Chief Guest Mr. Sudhir Sethi, Founder and Chairman of ChirataeVentures. Dr. P.R.Sodani, President, IIHMR University, Mrs.Yamini Agarwal, Director IIHMR Foundation, Mr. Ayan Agarwal, Director IIHMR Foundation and Mr. Puneet Datta, CEO, IIHMR Starups welcomed the speakers followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp.

Dr. Mayur Vinaykumar Kaku, renowned as the “Yogic Neurosurgeon” and a student of the Fellowship in Management at IIHMR, shared his unique journey of integrating Eastern and Western practices to treat neurological conditions without the need for surgical intervention. With over 20 years of experience and a distinguished background as a gold medalist from NIMHANS, , Dr. Kaku's holistic approach to through yoga and neuroscience deeply resonated with the audience.

Ms. Diksha Sekhri, who heads the Rajasthan Royal Foundation, delivered an inspiring talk on driving sustainable change through social impact initiatives. She highlighted the significance of crafting high-impact, low-budget communication campaigns and fostering a culture of giving and social responsibility to create meaningful, lasting impact.

Mr. Rohit Gajbhiye, an Bombay alumnus and founder of LEO1, shared his experience in advancing financial inclusivity in education. His recognition on Forbes 30 Under 30 and Times 40 Under 40 lists underscores his commitment to nurturing responsible financial habits among the next generation, offering valuable insights to the audience.

Dr. Suhasani Jain, an IIHMR University alumna and healthcare leader with over 15 years of experience, addressed the critical issue of medical errors, emphasizing their profound impact on patient safety and healthcare quality. She underscored that despite their extensive training, doctors are not infallible and are subject to human limitations, which calls for realistic expectations and a collaborative approach between doctors and patients.

Mr. Prateek Kasana, an MBA candidate at IIHMR University and a gold medalist in Pharmacy, captivated the audience with his inspiring journey from a terrified first grader who struggled with public speaking to a confident speaker who overcame his fears. He emphasized the importance of not taking criticism personally, understanding that it often reflects others' perspectives rather than one's own worth. 

Arpan Music Lab, led by Ms. Manesha A Agarwal, delivered a captivating performance that showcased Rajasthan's rich cultural heritage. Their Virtual Covid Relief Concert Series, ‘Padharo Mhare Des,' which supported over 120 folk artists during the pandemic, exemplified their to cultural preservation and empowerment through music.

Mr. Puneet Datta, CEO IIHMR Foundation, delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing sincere gratitude to the speakers, performers, attendees, and the hardworking student team whose collective efforts and dedication made TEDxIIHMRU a success.
