Bihar government transferred 18 IPS officers. The SPs of six districts, including Patna SSP Avkash Kumar, have been changed.
Purnia SP Kartikeya K Sharma has been made the new SSP of Patna. The three city SPs of Patna have also been changed. City SP of Patna East Ramdas has been made Assistant Director cum SP of Bihar Police Academy Rajgir, Central City SP Sweety Sehrawat has been made SP of Purnea and Western SP Sarath RS has been made SP of Supaul.
Apart from that, Vineet Kumar has been appointed as SP of Jehanabad, Arvind Pratap Singh has been appointed as SP of Samastipur. Patna CID SP Chandrashekhar Prasad has been made SP Law and Order of Patna. Samastipur SP Ashok Kumar Mishra has been appointed as SP of Special Branch, Supaul SP Shaishav Yadav has been posted as Assistant Inspector General of Police (Moderisation), Patna.
Patna SSP Avkash Kumar has been made the Superintendent of BMP-1. It is being told that due to the deteriorating law and order situation in the capital Patna, Avkash Kumar has been transferred.
