Tamil Nadu government has appointed retired Madras High Court judge Justice RN Manjula and former IAS officer A Suganthi as the members of the Tamil Nadu State Human Rights Commission (SHRC).
The appointment is against vacancies in the State Human Rights Commission. A government order issued by the public (human rights) department dated Aug 25 and published in the state gazette said the appointments will be for three years or until the appointees attain the age of 70, whichever is earlier, from the date they assume charge.
