Pankaj Chaudhary, a 2009 batch of Rajasthan cadre, currently serving as Superintendent of Police in Community Policing, has announced to set up a public library at his birthplace Purushottam Patti, Ballia in memorial of his late father Sadashiv Choudhary.
The library will be accessible to poor and economically weak children from the village and nearby areas, who aims to study and achieve big in life.
Choudhary has also announced scholarships for students scoring high marks in 10th and 12th examination.
Choudhary's father Sadashiv Choudhary has recently passed away on June 20, 2025 in Bhopal.
Who is Sadashiv Choudhary?
Pankaj Choudhary's father Sadashiv Choudhary was an engineer with Uttar Pradesh government. He had served in Kotdwar, Laxsar, Pauri Garhwal (now Uttarakhand) and Rae Bareli, Pratapgarh, Amethi, Sultanpur, Bhadohi, Gorakhpur and Banaras in UP.
His father late Ramlochan Pehalwan, was an accomplished wrestler in his time. During that time, he took on national level wrestlers like Chandgi Ram.
