Local court stays demolition of IAS Manjusha Rai’s house

In a major relief to Manjusha Rai, whose a portion of house was razed by Madhya Pradesh government, district and sessions court, has stayed the demolition. 

Manjusha Rai is serving as deputy  secretary in Madhya Pradesh Education Department. She is a 2016 batch promoted from state administrative service. 

At the same time, Kolar SDM Aditya Jain has been removed in this connection. The court has given a stay till August 13 in the dispute over her house in Danishkunj. Till the next hearing, the other party will not be able to cause any damage to the existing house.

The matter came to light on August 2. The dispute is related to the agreement, and registry of the duplex house built on a total of 1864 square feet of land. IAS Rai had alleged that goons reached her house and started vandalising it with a JCB. 

The police and local administrative officials also did not intervene in the matter. A petition was filed in this regard in the district court on behalf of IAS Rai's husband Vikrant Rai.
