But his acceptability was cutting across the party lines. Whether it was Mayawati's government, Akhilesh Yadav's term or Yogi Adityanath's tenure, Sehgal was the Man Friday.
An officer built on a 6 feet 4 inches frame has an imposing presence and impressive persona. So much so that when country's richest businessman Mukesh Ambani visits Lucknow to participate in a business summit, he refers Sehgal's name and when filmstar Akshay Kumar comes across him, Kumar couldn't resist hugging him.

Those who know Sehgal well can easily vouch for that he can't be away from action for long. Being a lord of versatile personality, Sehgal next move could be anywhere. He may contest upcoming assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh. He may be asked take up gubernatorial post or be given a plum assignment in PMO. While his exit from Prasar Bharati was a big surprise, his next assignment seems to be a bigger one.
