Sanjeev Shukla, 2004 batch IPS officer, has been appointed as the first police commissioner of Raipur – a before the implementation of police commissioner system in Raipur. This will see a major administrative change in the police system of the capital.
In the reshuffle the current SP of Raipur Dr. Lal Umed Singh has been appointed as the new Superintendent of Police of Jashpur district. At the same time, Railway SP Shweta Srivastava has been given the responsibility of Raipur Rural Superintendent of Police.
Apart from that, Mayank Gurjar has been made the Deputy Commissioner of the Northern Urban Body.
