Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary is reshuffling IAS officers frequently. In last three days, the state government has transferred IAS twice.
In the latest list, 15 IAS officers have been transferred. The General Administration Department issued the notification late on Sunday night. In this reshuffle, five former District Magistrates (DMs) who were recently removed from their districts have been assigned new responsibilities in the secretariat and various departments. At the same time, many municipal commissioners and DDC level officers have also got new postings.
Former DMs get posting at Secretariat
The most discussed in the transfer list is that of the officers who were removed from the districts a few days ago. Former Bhagalpur DM Naval Kishore Chaudhary has been made the managing director (MD) of Bihar State Transmission Company Limited. Navdeep Shukla, former DM of Banka, has been given the responsibility of Special Secretary in the Youth, Employment and Skill Development Department. Pawan Kumar Sinha, former DM of Gopalganj, has been made special secretary in the higher education department.
Apart from this, Vishal Raj, former DM of Kishanganj, has been posted as MD of Bihar State Power Generation Company Limited and Pramod Kumar, former DM of Nalanda, has been posted as Additional Secretary in the Higher Education Department.
Municipal Commissioners and DDC have also been changed
The government has appointed Kumar Mangalam, Commissioner of Purnia Municipal Corporation, as Secretary, Revenue Council. Gaya Municipal Corporation Commissioner Abhishek Palasia has been given the responsibility of Joint Secretary in the Road Construction Department. Kumar Nishant Vivek, Commissioner of Bihar Sharif Municipal Corporation, has been made Director of Primary Education.
Muzaffarpur DDC Shrestha Anupam has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Finance Department, DDC Pradeep Singh as Joint Secretary in the Tourism Department and Ananya Singh, DDC, Aurangabad, as Additional Chief Executive Officer in Jeevan.
Mukesh and Shirshat now have a new responsibility
Mukesh Kumar Lal, Special Secretary, Finance Department, has been made Director, Agriculture Department. Bihar State Seed Corporation MD Sanchat Gupta has been appointed as Additional Executive Director of State Health Committee.
At the same time, Shirshat Kapil Ashok, MD of Bihar State Road Development Corporation, has been made MD of COMPFED.
