Khairthal-Tijara District Collector Atul Prakash launched an innovative campaign – Ujjwal Bachpan – for ensuring healthy childhood to students of Class one to fifth. The campaign also covers health check and medical screening of children registered at Anganwadi centres in all government schools of the district.
Prakash is implementing this campaign in a mission mode and aims to cover the prospective children by August 14.
“The objective of this campaign is to identify health problems in children in a timely manner and ensure proper treatment. It will also create a digital health record of each child for future medical references, he said.

Under the campaign, the district administration is targeting to cover health check-up, medical screening and digital health records of 59,192 children of 768 government schools and 507 Anganwadi centres.
“We have asked officials of departments like Medical and Health Department, Women and Child Development Department and Education Department to coordinate in a close manner and complete the campaign in a mission mode,” Prakash said.
