Nakate Shivprasad Madan, a 2011 batch IAS officer is set to go on deputation to centre. He is likely to join Speaker Om Birla's Lok Sabha Secretariat.
Sources said that Birla has given his consent for Nakate. The chances of Nakate going early has brightened after Gaurav Goyal, who was serving as Joint Secretary in Lok Sabha Secretariat, has been repatriated mid way after spending little more than two years. He had joined Lok Sabha Secretariat in August 2024.
“Nakate has been trying to go to centre for long time. The state government has also agreed to relieve him despite facing crunch of IAS officers. Now that Goyal is back, Nakate will find a place there soon,” said a senior IAS officer.
Nakate is currently serving as Managing Director, Rajasthan Urja Vikas and IT Services Limited. He had served twice as Managing Director of RIICO while having several as Collector in districts like Alwar, Barmer, Sriganganagar and Bhilwara.
