After cabinet reshuffle, Bihar govt transfers 11 IAS, 16 IPS

The NDA in implemented a significant bureaucratic reshuffle, transferring 11 IAS and 16 IPS officers.

A notification from the General Administration Department announced the appointment of HR Sriniwas, a 1996-batch , as the additional chief secretary of the social welfare department.

Santosh Kumar Mall, a 1997-batch IAS officer, has been appointed principal secretary of the disaster management department. Lokesh Kumar Singh, a 2003-batch IAS officer, has been made secretary of the tourism department.

Kumar Ravi, a 2005-batch IAS officer, has been appointed secretary of the health department. Ajay Yadav, another 2005-batch IAS officer, has been appointed secretary of the energy department. Sanjay Kumar Singh, a 2007-batch IAS officer, has been appointed secretary of the finance department.

Pranav Kumar, a 2008-batch IAS officer, has been appointed secretary of the building construction department. Manoj Kumar Singh, a 2009-batch IAS officer, has been appointed resident commissioner of Bihar Bhawan in New Delhi. Singh, a 2010-batch IAS officer, has been appointed secretary of the water resources department.

Among IPS officers, Sudhanshu Kumar, a 1996-batch IPS officer, has been appointed additional director general ( and Order). Nirmal Kumar Azad, a 1994-batch IPS officer, has been made director general (Training).

The notification also announced the appointments of Amit Kumar Jain, a 1996-batch IPS officer, as ADG of the economic offences unit. Nayyar Hasnain Khan, another 1996-batch IPS officer, has been appointed ADG of Bihar Special Armed Police. Amit Lodha, a 1998-batch IPS officer, has been appointed ADG (Wireless and Technical Services). Amrit Raj, a 1998-batch IPS officer, has been appointed ADG of the cybercrime-cum-security unit.
