Amid spate of murders, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar effects transfer of IPS

Amid spate of murders in criminal activities in Bihar, chief minister has effected major of IPS officers, sending a strong message ahead of assembly elections. 

Five IPS officers have been removed from Patna and sent to other districts, while six officers have been brought to Patna to strengthen and order in the state capital which was rocked by murders of businessman Gopal Khemka of a private school Ajit Yadav. As many as 30 people are reportedly killed in the month of July so far. 

Patna Superintendent of Police (Law and Order) Sanjay Kumar has been sent as SP (Rural) of Saran while Katihar's SP Vaibhav Sharma has been given the responsibility of SP in Patna's Research Control Room

SP of Saran Shikhar Choudhary has been sent to Katihar while Patna's Assistant Inspector General of Police (Modernisation) Shaishav Yadav has been transferred as Commandant at the Military Police Training Centre Dumaron. 

Superintendent of Police (Surveillance Investigation Bureau) posted in Patna Manoj Kumar has been made the Commandant of Bihar Special Armed Police-8 in Begusarai.

Commandant of Special Armed Police Force in Bagha Mithilesh Kumar has been kept in the waiting at the Patna police headquarters. Mahendra Kumar Basantri has been given the responsibility of commandant in the home Defence department of Patna. He was toll now serving as commandant at the police training centre in Dumaron. At the same time, Navjot Simi has been sent to Begusarai from the Special Armed Police-8 of Begusarai.

Apart from that Divyanjali Jaiswal, who was serving as sub-divisional police functionary in Ramnagar Bagha, has been transferred to the post of Assistant Superintendent of Police in the Research Department in Patna. 

Among the other sub-district police functionaries, Atulesh Jha has been sent from Patna City to Dihri Rohtas and Shivam Dhakad has been sent from Motihari to Danapur Patna.
