Delhi Police transferred 70 IPS officers across key departments to enhance administrative efficiency and strengthen departmental management.
Anand Mohan, 1994-batch IPS officer has been appointed as DG of Tihar Jail while 1991-batch IPS officer Virendra Singh has been made DG of Home Guards.
At the same time, 1997-batch IPS officer Surender Singh has taken charge as DG of Civil Defence while 2002 batch IPS officer Sanjay Kumar Jain has been appointed as Officer on Special Duty to Delhi Police Commissoner with additional charge of Joint Commissioner Tech and PI. He replaced Vijay Kumar who was OSD to Police Commissioner. now Kumar has been transferred as Joint CP Southern Range.
