Senior Professor of Sawai Mansingh (SMS) Medical College and Hospital Dr. N L Disania committed suicide by hanging herself.
He was serving as head of Forensic department. He credited to have started state-of-the-art lab at SMS Hospital, two months ago.
Dr. Disania stayed in Agrasen Nagar in Jhotwara area of Jaipur. On Tuesday night, the all his family members had gone to attend a wedding ceremony. When they returned late at night, Dr. Disania was found hanging from a noose in her bedroom. He was immediately taken to a private hospital in Khatipura, where he was declared brought dead.
Dr. Disania's body was brought to SMS emergency. From here he was shifted to the mortuary for post-mortem.
It is learnt that ne of his family members was slapped with a case of financial fraud, a few years ago. Since then, he has been under constant stress.
Dr. Disania has been serving in SMS Hospital and Medical College since 30 years. He is survived by two daughters and a son.
