Purna Chandra Kishan, a 2005 batch IAS officer, who is serving as joint secretary agriculture in centre, is slated to repatriate to his home cadre Rajasthan earlier than the schedule.
Kishan had been appointed as joint secretary in August 2024 for at least three years. But now citing personal reasons, he is coming back after serving little more than one year on central deputation.
Kishan had earlier served as secretry skill, employment and entrepreneurship development, rural development, animal husbandry and minority affairs among other. He had also served as collectors in districts like SriGanganagar, Hanumangarh, Dungarpur and Dholpur.
