Reiterating its operational processes and commitment to the protection and promotion of biodiversity across the value chain, the JK Tyre & Industries Ltd, a leading tyre manufacturer, successfully completed the Rapid Biodiversity Assessment at the Kankaroli manufacturing plant while continuing its robust Biodiversity Protection Policy.
JK Tyre believes that balanced coexistence with nature is essential for both the safety and business stability of future generations.
Through this policy, the company further strengthens its commitment to national and global environmental goals.
Under this programme, a three-day field-based study under the Rapid Biodiversity Assessment was conducted by the Environmental Advisory Agency Sustaina Greens LLP. The study included JK Tyre, the plant complex and the surrounding landscape, which also found rich biodiversity in the active industrial area.
The study was led by Dr. Meenakshi Singh (Botanist) and Dr. Chandni Valodkar (Wilderness Expert) with Piyush Marwari and Divya Jadav providing field support. The study was led by Anil Mishra and Rajiv Bhatnagar on behalf of JK Tyre. The study was managed by Subhash Vashishtha and Sudhanshu Dubey.
