Anil Kumar Damor, a 2019 batch IAS officer of Madhya Pradesh cadre has died of a heart attack in Vidisha. He was 45.
Damor, promoted from state service, was serving as Deputy Secretary of State in the Rural Development and Panchatiraj Department. He was recently transferred from Vidisha where he was serving as Additional Collector.
According to the information, Anil Damor suddenly fainted in the bathroom of his government residence in Vidisha. He was immediately rushed to Vidisha Medical College for treatment on early morning of Tuesday. His condition was serious when he reached the medical college.
Shubham Jain, the medical in-charge, said that when Anil Damore was brought to the hospital, his heart was not beating and his pulse was not failing. The medical team gave him CPR and tried to revive him, but he could not be revived.
He was later declared dead. Damor is surged by his wife and two children – both studying in school.
