Rajesh Yadav hardsells Rajasthan tourism in France, gets rousing response 

To woo French tourists and showcase potential, Rajasthan principal secretary tourism Rajesh Yadav pitched in with detailed presentation on the distinctive identity and tourist attractions of Rajasthan at Indian Embassy in France. More than 50 leading tour operators and travel agents from different cities of France participated in the event.

Yadav showcased world-famous tourism splendours like forts, palaces, havelis, Thar desert, Pushkar, Ranthambore and Udaipur through promotional films.

The presentation also showcased glimpses of cultural heritage, folk art, festivals and fairs so that French tour operators can get acquainted with the vibrant traditions of Rajasthan.

Yadav said that Rajasthan tourism is not only limited to heritage and culture, but it is also pioneer in modern dimensions like wildlife safari, adventure tourism, destination and wellness.

Inviting French tour operators, Yadav said that Rajasthan has immense potential for tourism investment, collaborative ventures and package tour development.

Outcome of Event

This focussed event led to a strong branding of Rajasthan in the tourism market of France and Europe. The presentation of Rajasthan's unique cultural heritage and modern tourism services attracted interest of French tour operators. The event paved the way for promoting bilateral tourism cooperation, investment and joint ventures between India and France. This will help establish Rajasthan as a major destination.

The event gave the French tourist community an in-depth understanding of the tourist attractions of Rajasthan.

An India Tourism Event was organised at the Indian Embassy premises in Paris under the joint aegis of the Indian Embassy, Service Export Promotion Council and Air India with the aim of empowering India's tourism potential in France.
