RIICO clocks revenue growth of 16.5% in 5 months of this fiscal

State Industrial and Corporation () recorded a healthy 16.5% growth in revenue earning Rs 1,179 crore in this fiscal till August 31 as against Rs 1,012 crore earned during the corresponding period of the last fiscal. 

The growth is triggered by investment friendly policies rolled out by the corporation accelerating the industrial development. 

During the first five months of this fiscal, RIICO allotted 1,491 plots as compared to 669 plots allotted during the same period in 2025-26. Similarly, the value of plots allotted to entrepreneurs rose to approximately Rs 1,903 crore, up from Rs 1,477 crore in the previous year.

Apart from that RIICO has developed 14 new industrial areas so far in this fiscal. In the last fiscal RiICO was able to develop only 5 new industrial zones till two quarters. 

There has also been a substantial increase in orders issued by RIICO for developing infrastructure facilities in industrial areas. 

Work orders worth Rs 1,011 crore were issued for development activities during this period, whereas the figure stood at approximately Rs 400 crore during the same period last year. 

RIICO has also accelerated spending on development works shelling out Rs 301 crore between April 1 and August 31, 2026 as compared to Rs 141 crore spent during the same period in the previous year.
