K Satya Narayan, a 1998 batch IPS officer of Uttar Pradesh cadre, has applied for voluntary retirement.
He is currently posted as ADG Traffic and Road Safety. His retirement year is scheduled to be in October 2027 but he has sent a letter for retirement two years ago.
Originally from Andhra Pradesh, the reason for Satya Narayan's move has not been revealed.
However, according to departmental sources, he has applied for voluntary retirement due to personal reasons.
