Jodhpur Collector Gaurav Agrawal has been given additional charge of Divisional Commissioner of Jodhpur division till further orders.
The post of Divisional Commissioner fell vacant after superannuation of Pratibha Singh who retired in February this year. Pratibha Singh was serving on the post since September 2024. She is a 2007 batch IAS officer promoted from state administrative service.
Gaurav Agrawal, the IAS topper of 2014 batch, has been serving as Jodhpur Collector since January 2024. He has also served as Collector of Tonk and Chittorgarh in the past.
Considered as hard working and intelligent officer, Agrawal has also served as Agriculture Commissioner and Director, Secondary Education among other key posts.
