Days after lifting transfer ban, Rajasthan government has imposed restricted entry for public in Secretariat – the nerve centre of the government. Now public and even temporary pass holders will not be able to enter the premises of Secretariat on Holidays and before and beyond office hours. Also, the state government has put a ban on any kind of photography or videography in the Secretariat premises, which is already a No photography Zone.
“Any kind of photography or videography without permission is a punishable offence. A case can be registered for taking a photo or video inside the secretariat premises. The personnel department has issued a circular in this regard and ordered the strict enforcement of these restrictions,” said a personnel department official.
Archana Singh, Secretary, Department of Personnel (DoP), has issued stern directives, which restricts public entry before and post office hours. Those having temporary pass will not be able to enter promises on holidays.
“Those who need to meet officials on holidays will have to arrange a confirmation call from the respective department to the reception for entry pass. The restriction will control the inflow of unwarranted crowd,” the official said.
The circular also call for officers and employees to wear Identity Card during office hours.
