The ASSOCHAM Rajasthan State Development Council successfully organised the Rajasthan Renewable Energy Summit 2026, bringing together policymakers, industry leaders, financial institutions, technology experts and renewable energy professionals to deliberate on the theme “Powering Rajasthan through Clean Energy, Innovation & Vision 2030.”
The summit provided a platform for meaningful discussions on policy reforms, green finance, industrial infrastructure, artificial intelligence-driven innovation and sustainable investments aimed at accelerating Rajasthan's clean energy transition.
Heeralal Nagar, State Minister for Energy, Government of Rajasthan, was the Chief Guest of the summit.
Addressing the gathering, Nagar reaffirmed the State Government's commitment to strengthening Rajasthan's position as India's renewable energy leader through progressive policies, enhanced investments, modern infrastructure and accelerated adoption of clean energy technologies.
The minister mentioned about various schemes and achievements of state government. He also emphasised the importance of stronger collaboration between government, industry and financial institutions to achieve India's clean energy and Net Zero ambitions.
The inaugural session also featured addresses by Devendra Shringi, Chairman & Managing Director, Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (RVUNL); Navin Arora, Advisor (Energy), Energy Department, Government of Rajasthan; Rajneesh Kumar, General Manager (NW-1), State Bank of India; and Dr. Jyotirmay Mathur, BIS Chair Professor, MNIT Jaipur, who shared valuable insights on renewable energy expansion, financing mechanisms, technological innovation and sustainable infrastructure development.
Welcoming the dignitaries and delegates, CA Himanshu Goyal, Chairman, ASSOCHAM Rajasthan State Development Council, said that Rajasthan has emerged as one of India's most promising renewable energy destinations. He noted that ASSOCHAM remains committed to creating a collaborative platform that brings together government, industry, academia and financial institutions to accelerate investments, innovation and sustainable economic development.
Earlier in the day, an expert panel discussion on “Green Finance, Land & Industrial Infrastructure, AI-Driven Innovation, and Renewable Energy for Accelerating Sustainable Growth” featured eminent representatives from the renewable energy, banking, technology and consulting sectors. The panel deliberated on financing clean energy projects, strengthening industrial infrastructure, leveraging AI for operational efficiency and creating an enabling ecosystem for sustainable investments.
The summit concluded with a vote of thanks by Er. Onkar Bageria, Co-Chairman, ASSOCHAM Rajasthan State Development Council, and witnessed enthusiastic participation from senior government officials, renewable energy developers, investors, startups, industry associations and sustainability professionals from across the country, reaffirming Rajasthan's growing leadership in India's renewable energy sector.
The summit was coordinated by State Head of ASSOCHAM Dinesh Mathur.
