The Income Tax Department conducted raids at the establishments connected with Jaipur National University (JNU) in Jaipur.
Teams from Delhi searched for tax evasion. The Income Tax Department is investigating the transactions of undisclosed income.
The department also conducted search at the house of the university's director Sandeep Bakshi and other business premises.
Bakshi has close links in bureaucracy. It is alleged that few retired and serving bureaucrats have invested in JNU.
Sandeep Bakshi runs schools, university, hospital and medical college in Jaipur. It is believed that this raid was carried out to investigate undeclared admission, donation and cash transactions in JNU.

The teams have found receipts related to admission fees, bank transaction records, cash books and account statements, donations and suspicious transaction entries and important documents in the search.
“It is being said that the documents received by the income tax teams can provide evidence of undisclosed income and tax evasion,” sources said.
