Debasish Prusty, who is serving as principal secretary urban development and housing, has been given additional charge of Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) commissioner.
JDA commissioner Anandhi has been leave for last 8 days. And it is likely that she continues to be on leave for 10 more days. She is on child care leave.
Anandhi is an upright officer. The working of JDA has improved after her joining in September 2024. During her one year tenure more than half a dozen residential schemes were launched.
However, sources say that Anandhi is not much interested in continuing with the present post.
“The post of commissioner is a hot seat. There is lot of pressure as the commissioner has to deal with high and mighty. Anandhi is an upright officer and known to work as per rule,” said an officer in JDA.
