JDA initiates public engagement through direct Samvaad, hears 17k cases in 45 days

Authority () is interacting directly with public hear and resolve civic problems. In less than 45 days, the authority has been able to 17,000 cases including 500 online grievances. For that, the authority has deputed more than 200 officials who are interacting daily with public and dispose the cases in a time bound manner.

JDA Siddharth Mahajan said that the objective of the authority is not only to settle the complaints, but to ensure a permanent solution to the problem of every citizen with sensitivity, transparency, quality and timeliness.

“When a citizen's problem is resolved in a timely manner, it is not just an application disposal, but the faith in governance system is also strengthened,” he said. 

How JDA has improved grievance redressal system?

JDA has strengthened digital tracking, -based monitoring and regular review system to make the public hearing system more effective. The progress of each case is being continuously monitored, thereby ensuring transparency, speed and accountability in the disposal of complaints.

The authority has engaged with public through direct Samvaad (dialogue) where regular communication is being established with various social organisations, public representatives, residential committees, business organisations and other stakeholders through the daily public hearing.
