Kerala government has effected transfer and posting orders for IAS officers, creating two new ex-cadre posts in the process. The order was issued by Rajesh G R, Additional Secretary, General Administration Department, on August 25.
Major changes:
Minhaj Alam (KL:1996), Principal Secretary, Forest and Wildlife, will also serve as Chairman & Managing Director of Kerala State Electricity Board Limited (KSEB), while retaining existing additional charges.
Dr A Kowsigan (KL:2009), Secretary, Ports, will hold additional charges of SC/ST Development and Backwards Classes Development Departments. He will relieve Puneet Kumar IAS.
Jeevan Babu K (KL:2011), MD, Kerala Water Authority, is transferred as Commissioner for Land Revenue, with additional charges of Commissioner, Disaster Management and State Project Manager, National Cyclone Risk Mitigation Project.
Anjana M (KL:2013), Additional Secretary-I, GAD (AIS), will also hold charge of Project Director, Kerala State Transport Project.
John V Samuel (KL:2015), Director, Coir Development, is transferred and posted as Additional Secretary, Local Self Government Department.
Anju K S (KL:2017), MD, Kerala State Backwards Classes Development Corporation, is transferred and posted as Staff Officer to the Chief Secretary while retaining additional charge of MD, Backwards Classes Development Corporation.
Anie Jula Thomas (KL:2018), Officer on Special Duty, Industries Department, will hold the additional charge of Director, Coir Development.
Vishnuraj P (KL:2019), Director, Industries, will also hold the additional charge of MD, Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation.
Rahul Krishna Sharma (KL:2019), Project Director, Kerala State Transport Project, is placed at the disposal of LSGD to serve as CEO, Smart City Thiruvananthapuram.
Arun S Nair (KL:2020), Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, is posted as Additional District Magistrate, Sabarimala, but will return to his parent post after the Mandala-Makaravilakku season.
Harshil R Meena (KL:2021), Director, Environment and Climate Change, will hold the additional charge of CEO, ANERT.
