Madhya Pradesh government transferred 24 IAS officers including collectors of 12 districts. These include collectors of Panna, Pandhurna, Seoni, Morena, Dindouri, Alirajpur, Niwari, Bhind, Singrauli, Chhindwara and Ratlam districts.
Bhind Collector Sanjeev Srivastava has been removed after a dispute with MLA Narendra Singh Kushwaha over the food crisis and farmers' problems. He has been appointed as Additional Secretary in PWD.
Bhopal Municipal Corporation Commissioner Harendra Narayan has been made the collector of Chhindwara. BJP leaders had publicly levelled allegations against Harendra Narayan of not picking up the phone. Suresh Kumar, who was the collector of Panna, has been made the divisional commissioner of Morena.
Sanskrit Jain has been appointed as the commissioner of Bhopal Municipal Corporation. Neeraj Vashishtha, who was the OSD of Shivraj Singh Chouhan during his chief minister period, has been made the collector of Pandhurna district.
Chhindwara collector Shilendra was also removed
In the transfer order, Sanjeev Srivastava, Shilendra Singh, Suresh Kumar, Abhay Bedekar, Ankit Asthana, Ajay Dev Sharma, who were made collectors before the assembly elections, have been removed from the post of collectors. However, Dhar collector Priyanka Mishra, who was made Dhar collector before the assembly elections, is still in office.
