Pakistan’s drones shot down in air at Jaisalmer, Barmer amid blackout 

Pakistan has been carrying out drone attacks on the bordering district of Jaislamer and Barmer. 

In , where India had carried out nuclear test, Pakistan went for drone strikes twice in half an hour. The drones were neutralised with strong air mechanism. 

There has also been a in Barmer where drones were shot down by India's air Defence system. No casualty has been reported. 

Earlier, Pakistan had attacked 5 bases in Rajasthan with missiles and drones on the night of May 7-8 and on the night of May 8, which were also shot down in the air.

A red alert has been issued in Barmer and a green alert in Sriganganagar after the drone attack. There is a complete blackout in the border districts of , Barmer, Sriganganagar, Phalodi as well as Jodhpur.

Where Pakistan targeted?

Pakistan targeted places of military importance in Jaislamer like Military Station, Desert Warfare School/Counter Insurgency and Jungle Warfare School (CIJWS), Air Force Station, and Pokhran Field Firing Range. 

In Barmer, Pakistan targeted to attack Jalipa Military Station and Uttarlai Airbase.
