Rajasthan's revenue from major earning sources jumped by 12.41% in the first five months of the current fiscal year, showing a promising growth in State GDP, who was pegged at 10.24% in 2025-26.
The revenue receipts stood at Rs 57,396 crore as against Rs 51,061 crore during the corresponding period of the previous year.
Principal Secretary Finance Vaibhav Galriya informed this stellar performance of the state on financial front in a review meeting chaired by Chief Secretary V Srinivas.
Srinivas directed departments to sustain the pace of revenue growth. He asked departments to regularly review their revenue targets and, wherever revenue receipts are low, identify the reasons and formulate an action plan for improvement.
He also emphasised on recovery of outstanding revenue, effective enforcement, time-bound disposal of pending cases and better use of technology.

Aparna Arora, Additional Chief Secretary, Mines and Petroleum, said that revenue receipts from the mining sector stood at Rs 4,162 crore up to August, registering a 20.26% increase over the corresponding period of the previous year. The revenue from the petroleum sector stood at Rs 1,107 crore.
T Ravikanth, Principal Secretary, Revenue said that regular reviews are being conducted at the level of Divisional Commissioners and District Collectors for expeditious disposal of pending land allotment cases. Special attention is given to the recovery of outstanding land revenue and expeditious disposal of important pending cases before revenue and civil courts.
Bhawani Singh Detha, Principal Secretary, Transport, said that the Transport Department had realised Rs 3,095 crore as against Rs 2,748 crore during the corresponding period of the previous year.
Anandhi, Commissioner, Commercial Taxes, said that revenue receipts from Goods and Services Tax (GST) grew by 9.07% at Rs 19,622 crore, while receipts from Value Added Tax (VAT) rose by 14.09% at Rs 11,448 crore up to August.
Similarly, Registration and Stamps Department realised Rs 6,313 crore, which was 27.38% higher than the Rs 4,956 crore earned last fiscal during the period.
