Rajasthan Rising on Singapore horizon

Now Rajasthan government reaches out to one of the biggest business destinations Singapore to woo investment at Rising Rajasthan Global summit

Continuing the international outreach for the upcoming ‘Rising Rajasthan' Global Summit 2024, a Government of Rajasthan delegation led by Industry and Commerce Minister Col. Rajyavardhan Rathore has left for Singapore to participate in an investment meet on October 08 and meet the dignitaries and business leaders during its 4-days visit to the island nation.  

In addition to that, the delegation will meet senior officials of Government of Singapore, representatives of the Singapore-based public and private firms and other trade and business-related stakeholders during its visit.

Sectors in focus

The companies that the delegation is expected to touch base with are from sectors such as petrochemicals, skill development, horticulture, strategic investment, urban development, water management, aerospace, electronics, and telecom among others and invite them for investing in Rajasthan as well as for participating in the upcoming investment summit. 

The delegation will also visit the business and manufacturing units of key Singapore-based companies to understand their operations and best practices. 

Besides Industry Minister Col. Rathore, the delegation comprises of Sudhansh , , , Principal Secretary, Medical and Health and other senior officials.

Moreover, the delegation will also hold a round of interaction with the members of Indian and Rajasthani diaspora, who have earned name and fame and made the country and Rajasthan proud. 

In the run-up to the ‘Rising Rajasthan' Global Investment Summit 2024, the government of Rajasthan has planned to organise investors' meets around the country as well as overseas. 

The domestic investors' meets have already been organised in Mumbai and New Delhi whereas on the global front, the investors' meets have so far been organised in South Korea, Japan, UAE and Qatar. 

The extensive outreach has resulted in Government of Rajasthan securing Investment proposals (MoUs) worth over Rs 12.55 lakh crore so far, reflecting the resounding faith of the investor and business in state government's efforts.
