Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RIICO) will be launching the second phase of online direct allotment scheme from Thursday. The elottery is likely on June 5, 2025.
Under this scheme, investors who have signed MoU in Rising Rajasthan till April 30, 2025, shall be eligible to participate in the scheme.
Shivangi Swarnkar, managing director RIICO said that there are 7,100 plots available for allotment in 98 industrial areas.
“While 808 plots are reserved under categories including SC/ST, women and disabled, 6,300 plots are available for unreserved investors,” she said.
In the first phase of direct allotment scheme which started in March, RIICO has released offer letter for allotment of 98 plots, raising Rs 350 crore. The allotment is under process.
“Allotment of plots will result in bringing investment in the state. It will also generate employment and create business environment in the state,” said Shivangi Swarnkar.
When the direct allotment scheme was launched, there were only 2,637 MoUs signed up in four months. When chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma extended this scheme for MoUs to be signed till April, 30, the state received additional 1,578 MoUs.
“The direct allotment scheme has brought a new zing in the industrial sector of the state. It will add investment and new employment opportunities in Rajasthan,” Swarnkar said.
