Madhya Pradesh IAS officer Avi Prasad is once again in the news for his personal life. The 2014 batch officer Avi has got married for the third time – again with an IAS officer.
Avi Prasad, who is currently the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Employment Guarantee Council in Madhya Pradesh, has got married to Ankita Dhakre, who is a 2017 batch IAS officer, serving as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of State Administrative Services. The marriage took place at Kuno National Park.
A native of Uttar Pradesh, Avi Prasad got first married to her batchmate IAS Riju Bafna, who is cut serving as Collector of Shajapur district.
Prasad's first marriage didn't last long and the IAS couple got divorced. Prasad then got married to 2016 batch IAS Misha Singh, who was officer of Andhra Pradesh cadre. After marriage, Misha Singh was transferred to Madhya Pradesh cadre. But this relationship could only last for about four years. Avi Prasad sought divorce for the second time. Misha Singh is currently serving as the collector of Ratlam.
According to the report, Avi Prasad was selected as a manager in the RBI before clearing the UPSC exam in 2013 when he was selected as IPS. Later n next year he was selected as IAS officer with 12th rank in 2014.
Avi Prasad's grandfather Tambeshwar Prasad alias Bacha Babu Chaudhary was a minister in the Charan Singh government.
