Rajasthan tourism receives ‘Best Cultural Destination’ award

has been awarded with the “Best Cultural Destination” during the 10th International Tourism Conference and Travel Awards ceremony organised by , which has been promoting tourism for the last 25 years through tourism conferences, industry meetings, exhibitions and tourism magazine – Travel Mail. 

Ajay Sharma, joint director tourism received the award on behalf of the tourism department. 

Rajasthan principal secretary tourism Rajesh Yadav said that the has received the award on the basis of feedback received from tourists and tourism experts.

“We are investing in enhancing infrastructure for religious, cultural, wildlife, rural, heritage and adventure tourism in the state. Rajasthan for applauded for organising world class event like recently. We will keep on enthralling tourists through enriched our rich culture and heritage,” he said. 

Yadav said that the tourism department is expanding its horizons in the leadership of and tourism minister Diya Kumari, who is also member of erstwhile royal family of Jaipur. 

“Recently, Jaipur, known for its royal heritage and warm hospitality, has been included in the top five tourist cities of the world in a reader's survey organised by the prestigious Travel & Leisure magazine,” Yadav said.
