Rajasthan govt inks pact with CSEP for data driven growth in power sector

Rajasthan government joined hands with Research Foundation, an independent, public policy think tank with a mandate to conduct research and analysis.

The memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed Sourabh Swami, Joint Secretary (Energy Department) and Dr. Rahul Tongia, Senior Fellow and Lead, Energy, CSEP Research Foundation.

This collaboration marks a significant stride towards enhancing Rajasthan's leadership in renewable and sustainable energy through informed decision-making and institutional research partnerships.

“The partnership will focus on data-driven research and analysis to address emerging challenges such as renewable integration, rooftop pricing, and the transition towards green energy system,” he said.

Among other senior officers present were , Chairman & Managing Director, Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation Limited (RREC); Arti Dogra, Chairman, Discom(s); and Om Prakash Kasera, Managing Director, Rajasthan Urja Vikas and IT Services Limited.
