NEET paper cancelled, CBI will probe

The National Testing Agency (NTA), with approval from the of India, has cancelled the (UG) 2026 examination conducted on May 3.

Authorities said the examination will now be re-conducted on dates that will be notified separately. No further details regarding the revised schedule or reasons behind the cancellation have been officially announced so far.

On May 3, the NEET UG 2026 exam was conducted across the country. It is suspected that the examination form had already been leaked. In Rajasthan, many have found a hand-written guess paper whose questions are matching the actual exam.

On May 10, the Rajasthan Special Operations Group (SOG) took action on Intel inputs and detained 13 suspects from Dehradun, and . Those also include career counsellors associated with a coaching institute in Sikar.

The investigation has revealed that the questions of 600 marks out of 720 of the exam had reached the students in Sikar two days ago. In fact, a student doing MBBS from a college in Kerala had sent a guess paper to a friend in Sikar on May 1.

According to the report, a PG operator from Sikar received this paper, who gave it to the students living there. Through this, it reached different people.
