Rajasthan Industries department has launched ‘100 Icons of Rajasthan' initiative to identify and honour inspiring personalities who have made significant contributions to the economic, industrial and social development of the state.
Under this initiative, 100 distinguished individuals who have done outstanding work in various fields of the state will be selected. Among these 100 icons, 55 women below the age of 55 years and 45 men below the age of 45 years will be selected.
Rajasthan Industry and Commerce Commissioner Neelabh Saxena said that individuals who have made a significant contribution to the development of the state can apply online through the department's website (industries.rajasthan.gov.in) till August 15, 2026.
Saxena said that under this initiative, individuals who have achieved remarkable achievements in industry, trade, exports, entrepreneurship, startups, manufacturing, information technology, agriculture, health, tourism, handicrafts, women entrepreneurship, education, social entrepreneurship, energy, infrastructure and other key sectors will be eligible.
The selected persons will be given a place in ‘The 100 Icons Compendium'.
“Their achievements will also be showcased on the digital platform and will get an opportunity to participate in various strategic dialogues and knowledge-exchange events related to the development of the state,” he said.
