Rajasthan Rural Development Secretary Krishna Kunal inaugurated the ‘Rajeevika Rakhi Mela-2026′.
The fair, organised by linking the holy festival of Raksha Bandhan with women empowerment and rural livelihood, will run from 18 August to 21 August 2026 in the Government Secretariat premises.
In the fair, the women of self-help groups across the state are exhibiting and selling handmade rakhis, affectionate gifts and various handicrafts, organic and local products prepared by their skills and hard work.
The fair is not only a platform for shopping, but also a celebration of the skills, traditional art, self-esteem, self-reliance and economic empowerment of rural women of the state.

On this occasion, Rajasthan Foundation Commissioner Dr. Manisha Arora, Commissioner E. G. S Pushpa Satyani, State Mission Director, Rajeevika Priyanka Goswami and Brand Ambassador of Brand Ambassador of Rajeevika Ruma Devi were present to encourage the women associated with self-help groups.
SHG women from Ajmer, Barmer, Bundi, Churu, Jaipur, Jhunjhunu, Jodhpur, Jhalawar, Karauli, Pali, Bhilwara and Rajsamand districts have participated in the fair.
Women's groups have reached the fair bringing traditional arts, crafts and local products from their respective regions. With this, the art and culture of different zones of the state are getting a wide platform in the capital and women's groups are getting an opportunity to connect directly with the consumers.
