As a part of revamp exercise, National Testing Agency, which conducts competitive exams like JEE, NEET and CUET among others, will get two new Directors and a Joint Director.
As per the orders, Andhra Pradesh cadre IAS officer Prasanna Venkatesh V, a 2012-batch officer, has been appointed as Director of the National Testing Agency (NTA) under the Department of Higher Education.
Ravi Kumar Singh, a 2012 batch IPS of UT cadre, has also been appointed as Director in the agency. These appointments have been made under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of five years, according to orders issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT).
Amit Samdariya, IRS (C&IT:2016), who was recommended for Central deputation by the department of Revenue, has been selected for appointment as Joint Director (Deputy Secretary level) in the National Testing Agency (NTA) for a period of four years.
These officers will work under the supervision of Director General Abhishek Singh, a 1995 batch IAS of Nagaland cadre, who was appointed in NTA in April 2026.
