Kerala reshuffles IAS officers

Kerala government effected a major reshuffle including transfer of four Collectors. 

Dr. Sriram Venkitaraman, currently the Director of the Agriculture Department, has been appointed as the and Officer on Special Duty (OSD) in the Forest Department. 

Dr. Renu Raj, Additional Secretary (Health), has been assigned additional responsibilities as the State Mission Director of the National Health Mission, Project Director of e-Health, and Managing Director of the State Health Agency. She has been relieved of her duties as Managing Director of the Medical Services Corporation and the Health Research and Welfare Society.

Ernakulam District Collector G. has been given the additional charge of Chief Executive Officer of the Kochi Metropolitan Transport Authority.

Kasaragod District Collector Arjun Pandian has been appointed Director of the Department of Agriculture while Food Safety Commissioner Sreedhanya Suresh appointed as Kasaragod District Collector.

Lottery Department Director K.S. Anju has been appointed Thiruvananthapuram District Collector replacing Anu Kumari, who has been appointed as Special Commissioner, GST.

Thrissur District Collector Shikha Surendran has been given additional charge as Director General of the Kerala Institute of Local Administration (KILA).

Fisheries Director Chelsasini has been appointed as Wayanad District Collector.

K. Imbashekhar, Director of the Cultural Affairs Department, has been appointed as the Director of the Lottery Department. He will continue to hold the charge of the Cultural Affairs Department.

V. Vigneshwari, Director of the and Child Development Department, has been assigned the additional charge of State Disaster Management Commissioner, in addition to her existing additional responsibilities.

V.R. Vinod, Additional Secretary of the Public Works Department, has been assigned the additional charge of Director of the Kerala State Transport Project, in addition to his existing additional responsibilities.

Industries Department Director Arun K. Vijayan has been appointed as the Director of General Education.

Director of General Education Snehil Kumar has been appointed Director of the Department of Industries and Commerce.

Local Self-Government Department Joint Secretary D. Dharmalasree has been given charge as Executive Director of Suchitwa Mission.

Water Authority Joint Managing Director Dr. Binu Francis has been appointed as Director of the Scheduled Tribes Development Department.

Mining and Geology Department Director Dr. K. Harikumar has been appointed as Commissioner of Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs.

Social Department Director Dr. Arun S. Nair has been given additional charges as Executive Director of the Kerala Social Security Mission and Director of the Department of Elderly Welfare.

Commissioner Safna Nazarudeen has been given charge as Director of Employment and Training. She has been relieved of the post of Joint Commissioner (Land Revenue).

Finance Department Deputy Secretary Sachin Kumar Yadav has been appointed as Director of the IT Mission.

IT Mission Director Sandeep Kumar has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Finance Department. 

Mohammed Shefeeq, Additional Commissioner (GST) has been appointed as OSD (Revenue) and Joint Secretary.

Anu S. Nair, State Mission Director (National Health Mission), has been appointed as Commissioner of Food Safety.

M.C. Rejil, Director of Sports and Youth Affairs, has been appointed as Joint Commissioner (Land Revenue).

Sabin Sameed, Secretary (Land Board), has been appointed as Director of Information and Public Relations.

Dr. Mithun Premraj, Director (Scheduled Tribes Development Department) has been appointed as Director (Mining and Geology).

Misal Sagar Bharat, Director (Kerala State Transport Project) has been appointed as Director of Fisheries.

Sameer Kishan, Deputy Secretary (Industries Department), has bene appointed as Director of Collegiate Education and Commissioner for Entrance Examinations.
