In a massive reshuffle, Uttar Pradesh government has transferred 35 officers of the Indian Police Service (IPS).
According to the order issued, district SPs, Additional SPs and Deputy Commissioners of majot commissionerates like Lucknow, Kanpur Nagar, Agra, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Varanasi and Prayagraj have been transferred.
The reshuffle includes the names of regular recruitment (RR) officers from the year 2014 to 2022 batch besides the promoted (SPS) IPS officers from the provincial police service.
Under this administrative reshuffle, Charu Nigam has been transferred from Superintendent of Police UP-112 Lucknow to Senanayak 47th Corps PAC Ghaziabad and Shravan Kumar Singh has been transferred from DCP from Kanpur to DCP Gautam Buddha Nagar.
Apart from that, DCPs – Saad Mia Khan and Syed Ali Abbas – have swapped their position. Khan has been sent to Agra while Abbas has been moved to Gautam Buddha Nagar.
At the same time, many young officers have been posted in the posts of Additional Superintendent of Police in various districts, while also changing the work areas of the officers posted in CID, Intelligence Headquarters, PAC and Police Headquarters.
