ED conducts multiple raids on Congress state chief Dotasara, Mahwa MLA Hudla, sent FEMA notice to Vaibhav Gehlot

The Directorate of Enforcement (ED) launched raids at various locations in and Sikar belonging to Congress state president Govind Singh Dotasara in paper leak case.

The ED has also sent notice to Vaibhav Gehlot, son of Ashok Gehlot in a matter related to Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA). According to sources, Gehlot has been sent notices in a case related to Ratan Kant Sharma's Fairmont hotel where ED had recovered Rs 1.27 crore under FEMA.

Apart from that, the central investigating agency has also conducted raids on the residences and offices of independent MLA of Mahua Om Prakash Hudla, who has recently been given ticket from Congress from Mahua. ED has also raised places of business associates of Hudla including Rajendra Gupta. Subhash Balahedi, Nidhi Sharma and her brothers Deepak and Lalit who are also under scrutiny.Dotasar

ED raids on Dotasara

Earlier, ED has raided Kalam coaching institutes in Sikar in paper leak case. According to sources, Govind Singh Dotasara is said to have some links with Kalam coaching. Dotasara was education minister till November 2021.
ED has been in full swing since arrest of member , middleman Sher Singh and mastermind Bhupendra Saran, who are in its custody for some days.

Few days back, ED has raided offices and residences of Dinesh Khodaniya, his relative Ashok Jain and Spurdha Choudhary, who is said to be close to mastermind Suresh Dhaka, who is on run. ED has recovered cash Rs 24 and some incriminating documents from that raid.

Few days back Dotasara has said that he was eagerly waiting for ED and Income Tax

“Those fear ED and I-T who have done anything wrong. What will ED do to me?” He had said.

After raids, Govind Singh Dotasara said that the central investigating agency Is completing the process in an honest manner.
”There is nothing to be worried about. I and my family members are ready to answer their queries. Let them go satisfied then we will sit together and discuss,” Dotasara told his supporters.
