HCM RIPA launches Law Academy for revenue magistrates

, the apex level state training institute of Rajasthan for training of civil servants, has launched Law Academy for training revenue magistrates like Assistant Collector & Magistrate and Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM). 

Sreya Guha, Director General, HCM RIPA said that the academy would conduct week-long course to hone legal knowledge and interpretation skills of officers. 

“This is for the first time any state has launched course for court officers. We would initially conduct courses on alternate weeks with maximum intake of 25 officers in each course. This will help them dispose revenue cases effectively and efficiently,” she said. 

The course has been launched following directive of , which had ordered state government to train revenue officers.

“We will also launch courses for officers of appellate courts like Revenue Appellate Authority (RAA), Additional District Magistrates and District Magistrates in later stage,” she said.

The course has been designed by veteran bureaucrats and revenue law experts from as well as .
