Modi accepts Gehlot’s challenge , guarantees to better Gehlot’s welfare scheme

A couple of days back, Rajasthan minister dared Narendra Modi to guarantee to continue with Gehlot's public welfare schemes in Rajasthan if BJP comes to power. Prime Minister Modi accepted Gehlot's challenge and said that the upcoming BJP government in Rajasthan will better the Gehlot's public welfare schemes in the state.

“I thank Gehlotji. He has accepted defeat. When he has accepted it with honesty, Modi is multiple times more honest than you (Gehlot). I assure you that the BJP government will better the public welfare schemes launched by you,” he said addressing a rally in Chittorgarh.

Setting aside speculations of announcing or hinting CM face, Modi reiterated that the party will contest on Lotus (symbol of BJP).

“There is only one face in this assembly – Lotus. Our candidate is Lotus. We all have to collectively contest to make Lotus victorious in this election,” he said.

Launching an attack on Gehlot, he said that the chief minister was busy saving his chair and the half of the party was upto removing him didn't he chair.

“Congress may have come to power by telling lies, but could not run the government. Gehlot's entire focus was on to save his seat and his son while half of his party was continuously trying to uproot him. However, the entire Congress party was unanimous in one thing – looting the state. Here, criminals, rioters, corrupt and Congress men consider themselves the government. Such government should not be there for even a single day,” he said.

Modi guaranteed that his government will take strict action against those who have looted money, involved in corruption and harassed poor.

“No matter how much they abuse Modi, action against corruption will continue. The Congress government fill their coffers through corruption and leave public in lurch. BJP will get to the roots of corruption,” he said.
He assured youth that the BJP government will not spare those who have played with the future of youth.

“We have heard about mining mafias. But here paper leak mafias have come up. We will take strict action against them,” Modi said.
