Raghavendra Kachawal, who was serving as district and sessions judge Rajsamand, has been appointed as principal secretary law and legal affairs department-cum-legal remembrancer in Rajasthan government.
Kachawal replaced Brajendra Kumar Jain, whose services have been returned to Rajasthan High Court Jodhpur where Jain has held significant roles within the Rajasthan High Court and Law Department, including Registrar (Examination)and Registrar-cum-Principal Secretary to the Hon'ble C.J. (Chief Justice) before being appointed as principal secretary law in May 2024.
Kachawal had practised as a criminal lawyer with specialisation in NDPS cases before joining Rajasthan Higher Judiciary Service (RHJS) in 2012.
