Rajasthan Chief Secretary V Srinivas is never short of words when it comes to appreciating young officers. At a time when five young officers heading administration of as many districts met Srinivas at his office, the Chief Secretary gave pat on their backs and appreciated their performance as District Collectors. He took up social media platform – LinkedIn – for expressing his views.
“The IAS has amongst its ranks some of the brightest and forward looking officers, with 5 distinguished District Collectors of Rajasthan – Shri Alok Ranjan, Shri Kanaram Jat, Shri Akshay Godara, Shri Gaurav Agarwal, Shri Arun Hasija and Principal Secretary GAD Shri Naveen Jain in secretariat today,” Srinivas wrote.
The pep up words by administrative head of the state must have motivated District Collectors who called on the Chief Secretary. They were accompanied by GAD Principal Secretary Naveen Jain.
Kanaram Jat is a 2013 batch IAS officer serving as District Collector of Sawai Madhopur. He had been Collector of districts – Dungarpur and Hanumangarh – in the past.
Alok Ranjan is also a 2013 batch IAS officer serving as Collector of Jodhpur. He had been Collector of districts – Dungarpur, Bharatpur, Jhalawar and Chittorgarh n the past.
Gaurav Agrawal is a 2014 batch IAS officer serving as Collector of Udaipur. An All India topper of his batch, Agrawal had been Collector of Tonk, Chittorgarh and Jodhpur.
Arun Kumar Hasija, a 2015 batch IAS officer, promoted from state administrative service, is currently serving as Rajsamand Collector. This is for the first time he is handling the charge of Collector. He had been Additional Collector of Jodhpur and Bhilwara when he was a part of state administrative service.
Akshay Godara, a 2017 batch IAS officer is serving as Karauli Collector. He had been Collector of Bundi in the past for close to two years.
