Rajasthan Director General of Police Rajeev Kumar Sharma reiterated strict action against organised crime and hard core criminals. He directed police officials to adopt zero tolerance against organised crimes and gangsters.
Addressing senior police officials, DGP Sharma clearly said that the action now will not be limited to criminals only, but the entire criminal system will be destroyed.
He directed that strict and effective legal action should be taken by identifying the organised criminal gangs which are enafed in threatening, extortion and spreading fear among people.
He said that strong action will be taken against gang assistants, sympathisers, followers and promoters on social media.

The meeting was attended by the concerned Superintendent of Police, Range IG and other senior officials including AGTF in-charge Dinesh MN, ADG Biju George Joseph, Jaipur Police Commissioner Sachin Mittal, ADG Crime Branch Hawa Singh, officers of ATS/SOG, officers of Crime Branch, officers of Bikaner, Ajmer, Jodhpur Range, officers of Jaipur and Jodhpur Commissionerate, SPs of 15 districts, DST of these ranges and districts and in-charge of Cyber Cell.
The DGP said that action should be taken against the gang members active in the districts under section 111 BNS so that criminals are demoralised.
He said that a concrete action plan should be made to seize the assets of such criminals, hit on financial sources and bring their associates under the legal ambit.
He directed the entire Rajasthan police to work as a team work, emphasise on technology and adopt new methods along with traditional methods and said that all information against the identified criminals and gangs were shared among themselves so that they could be neutralised from the root.
