The IPS who arrested attackers of Bhim Army chief Ravan within 40 hours gets gallantry award

Vipin Tada , a 2012 IPS officer from Uttar Pradesh cadre has always been in news, all for good reasons so far. Known as encounter specialist, Tada is posted as Senior Superintendent of Police in Saharanpur districts. He has killed around 50 dreaded criminals so far in his 11-year service. The government has announced to bestow him with gallantry award for his fearless services in controlling crime in the . President of will soon give away this award to him.

Rajasthan connection

Tada belongs to Jodhpur and his father Machharam Tada is a practising lawyer at Jodhpur High Court. Tada is son-in-law of former Mumbai Commissoner and current Member of Parliament from Baghpat Satya Pal Singh, who had been minister of state of HRD in Modi' s previous regime.

After pursuing her school education from St Anthony School, he completed degree of MBBS from S N Medical College, Jodhpur in 2008. But he wanted to enter civil services, so he went to Delhi for preparations and became successful after cracking UPSC to get into police services.

Arrested attackers of Bhim Army chief Chandrashekhar

There was an attack on Chandrashekhar on June, 28, 2023 in Saharanpur in which the leader was injured. The bullet went past him without giving any grievous injury. This incident enraged the entire dalit across the country. Knowing the sensitivity of this case, Tada arrested attackers within 40 hours from Ambala after chasing them.

Tada was SSP of Yogi's Gorakhpur

Tada had served many sensitive districts including Gorakhpur and Rampur. He had killed many prized criminals in these districts to maintain law and order in state. His style of patrolling the narrow streets of cities on bicycle has won praises from Prime Minister Narendra Modi also. Name of Tada is synonym of terror for criminals. He has been awarded for his bravery coupe of times before also. Even during his probation in Ghaziabad, he won silver medal and then went on to win gold and platinum medals also during his service. Now the gallantry award is another shining star on his already decorated shoulder
