Senior journalist Prabhudatta Mishra was felicitated by National Academy of Agriculture Sciences (NAAS) for his contribution in the reporting of agriculture issues in various forms of media.
NAAS, a highly reputed government funded body of agriculture scientists, chose its Foundation Day on June 5 to honour Mishra.

He has worked with several media organisations like PTI, Bloomberg, Financial Chronicle and Financial Express among others in his career.
He is credited to have introduced coverage on commodity futures market in PTI, where he trained a team of 7-8 reporters who were into filing daily report from physical trading in Delhi's wholesale market.
