MP government transfers 29 IAS officers including CM Secretary

In a major reshuffle, Madhya Pradesh government transferred 29 Administrative Service () officers. This includes Alok Kumar Singh, Secretary to CM Mohan Lal Yadav. He has been removed from his post. He was also handling mines department as additional charge. Now Singh has been transferred as Director General, Registration and Superintendent Stamps.

Sanjeev Singh, Commissioner, Bhopal Division, has been transferred as Secretary, and Youth Welfare Department. Karmveer Sharma, who is serving as Commissioner-cum-Director, Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Protection, will replace Sanjeev Singh.

Mukesh Chandra Gupta has been made Principal Secretary, Jail Department. He has also been given the additional charge of member of the Revenue Division Gwalior. 

Dr. E. Ramesh Kumar has been given the responsibility of Principal Secretary, Revenue Department along with Relief Commissioner and Rehabilitation Commissioner.

Vivek Kumar Porwal has been Principal Secretary, Mineral Resources Department. Rewa Division Commissioner while Babu Singh Jamod has been made Secretary, Urban Development and Housing Department. Shailendra Singh has been appointed as the new Commissioner of Rewa Division.
